2 words- BUY IT!!! If you’re a fan of homemade icecream…. here you go! Brand new in box for ALOT less than ANYWHERE I found shopping around & I didn’t have to tote it home. FYI*** do follow instructions & let it sit for 24 hours on counter to “settle” freezing fluids after unpacking**** The ONLY problem I’ve found is there is NO fill line marked on the freezing pot. But, after a couple of times, you kinda get the hang to filling up to the mixer blades. Takes about 40 minutes to get a really nice soft-serve ice cream product. It also comes with a recipe booklet.

I have thoroughly enjoyed using this Ice Cream maker!!! It’s very simple to use and I don’t have to worry about forgetting to put something in the freezer beforehand or fool with salt and ice. I’ve used many different types and this one is by far the easiest to use and makes great ice cream. We’ve been experimenting with different recipes (from books and the internet). I would highly recommend this unit. (I had read it was pretty noisy but I don’t find it that bad…..I bought a soy milk maker some years ago and it will run you out of the house with it’s noise.)

I have always wanted one of these ice cream makers and did extensive review on them. Just could never afford them. Was glad when Cuisinart introduced this model as it was within my price range and had good reviews. I have made 2 batches of sorbet (green tea/kiwi and Early Grey/Cantaloupe) and 2 batches of chocolate ice cream. All have come out really well. I have cut back on cream and made it with Splenda. The machine really is worth the money. Hope it continues to be that way. I have never been disappointed with equipment from Cusinart.
